It is the 18th year of the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), the world's largest and most influential wine competition, with unrivalled global reach.
Judged by the top wine experts from around the globe, DWWA is trusted internationally for its rigorous judging process.
To achieve a Platinum Medal the wine must score a minimum of 97 points, Peter Falke's Signature Kailani Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 vintage received the required 97 points.
There are many wine medals awarded but the Decanter Awards are respected worldwide.
