Introduction
This is an old favourite, it makes a perfect topping for crostini or keep things simple add to toast for a snack supper

Steps
Melt butter and fry onion until soft - approx. 10 minutes.
Add mushroom cook for 3 minutes.
Stir in Sherry add seasoning and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add cream to taste – heat gently.
Serve hot on pieces of fried bread.
